New Year's Day on the Trans Pennine Trail
Approaching bridge #122 which carries Dowson Road over the former Apethorn to Godley Junction railway whose route now forms part of the Trans Pennine Trail and Sustran's National Cycle Network Route 62. The large puddle that was there two years ago SJ9594 : The big puddle has gone but the side meant for horse-riders is a bit of a quagmire and the tarmac path for walkers and cyclists is quite strewn with mud.
