It is a little surprising that this square has been so little visited, as it is only a short distance outside Nailsworth and crossed by footpaths. On this misty New Year's Day the wood sheltered our walking party as we shared some refreshments. When someone wished me 'Good morning' I checked my watch and realised it was time to take the annual photo.
