Fallen trees stranded at riverside
The fallen, stranded trees are effectively on land which is a large island in the flow of the River Wear with the majority of its water passing in front of the camera. There was a number of such toppled trees along the stretch of the river which here forms the southern boundary of the Low Barns Nature Reserve.
