NT7924 : Which way down from Wideopen Hill?

taken 1 month ago, 3 km from Linton, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Which way down from Wideopen Hill?
Which way down from Wideopen Hill?
Which side of the wall? We elected to use the other side, in view of the steepness of the first bit on this side of the wall. This could have been not the best, as the supposed way through the wood below did not seem to exist. Fortunately there is a small gate through the wall just above the wood, from there on it was easy going.
