Ludlow Castle
Ludlow Castle
Here is Ludlow Castle viewed from the top of Whitcliffe Common. You can just about make out the whole castle structure from here. I've been in there many times, and it's such a brilliant castle. At least it wasn't demolished, because around the 1700's, it was originally going to be planned to be demolished. However, an architect called Thomas Farnolls Pritchard saved the castle. He had enough money to keep it, but did not have enough money to keep it intact, so here it lays in a ruined condition.
