Ogwr Fach at Gilfach Goch
Ogwr Fach at Gilfach Goch
The name Gilfach Goch means Little Red Nook. The ‘Red’ may be connected with the iron oxide which enriches local rocks. But the bright red of the stream here is probably due to old mine workings upstream.
