St. James Boulevard brings traffic from the west and from the Redheugh Bridge to the western side of Newcastle city centre. There's a good deal of development going on in the area with many new buildings including the Hadrian Tower, a 27 floor apartment block, rising at the top right of the image. Much of the new development in the distance is associated with Newcastle University.
