Samuel Lewis Trust

The Samuel Lewis Trust was established following the death of its wealthy benefactor, Samuel Lewis, in 1901. Lewis bequeathed a substantial amount of money to set up the trust, to provide housing in London for poor people. The trust built homes in various parts of inner London.

In 2001, the trust changed its name to the Southern Housing Group.
