NY4724 : Building the new Pooley Bridge

Building the new Pooley Bridge
Building the new Pooley Bridge
The clearest view yet of the eastern (village) footings. I had not realised before that the supports for the steelwork were not only V-shaped vertically, but also (slightly) horizontally, which makes it easier to see how the steelwork shown in NY4624 : Steelwork for the new Pooley Bridge is going to fit in.

A delay to the opening from April to June has already been announced. I am sure that Granny Dowbekin Tea Rooms (in the building on the right with the yellow sign), and other businesses in Pooley Bridge, will be hoping that there is no further delay.
