Langley Vale Wood

Langley Vale Wood is a 259.69 ha estate acquired by the Woodland Trust in 2014 as a First World War Centenary Wood. The estate was mainly arable at the time of purchase, farmed by Langley Vale Farm, but will be planted with 100 ha of new woodland planting, while a further 100 ha will be kept as open space, much of it arable, to promote arable downland plants.
