Stow Station
The train for Galashiels and Tweedbank waiting to depart.
In the early days of the Borders Railway, passengers were bemused by the automatic train announcement 'This is Stow' being pronounced wrongly as in 'low'. The message was rectified to the local pronunciation which rhymes with 'cow'.
