Great Holland: The former Lions Den public house
Great Holland: The former Lions Den public house
This now closed pub appears to have had several variations of name on the lion theme through the years. All old large scale maps up to 1923 have it as the Lion Inn, by 1957 it was The Red Lion, but it was already the Lions Den by 1974.

The local newspaper of June 2016 reported that plans had been approved by Tendring Council for it to be demolished and replaced with a four-bedroom house.
