Leeds and Liverpool Canal - Bingley five-rise locks
One of the wonders of the waterway world. These five locks are Nos. 25 to 29 with a combined lift of 18 metres. They are formed as a staircase where the bottom gate of one lock is the top gate of the lock below. Lock keepers are in attendance to assist boats using these locks.
