SX7783 : Towards Pepperdon Mine

taken 24 days ago, 3 km from Lustleigh, Devon, Great Britain

Towards Pepperdon Mine
Towards Pepperdon Mine
From the Wray Valley Trail, with the A382 crossing the image between hedges. The house is converted from the mine buildings associated with one of numerous iron mines in the area, but which can only have operated for about 20 years in the first half of the C20. The valley in the hillside behind separates Wray Cleave (left) from Moor Wood.
