Looking down Grey Street from where it meets Blackett Street at the foot of Grey's Monument in Newcastle city centre. Despite appearances the photo was taken at 4:10pm on a Saturday afternoon. The city centre was abnormally quiet due to government public health advice and resultant shop closures as a consequence of an outbreak of a pandemic disease caused by an infectious strain of coronavirus.
