Kilnsey Crag
Kilnsey Crag is the most notable feature of Kilnsey and arguably the most famous landmark in Wharfedale. It is a towering 170ft-high limestone cliff situated right next to the B6160 road with an overhang of 40 feet. It was painted by artist Joseph Mallord William Turner in 1816 (LinkExternal link The Tate).
