ST6366 : A ring of posts for the tree

taken 4 years ago, near to Queen Charlton, Bath And North East Somerset, England

A ring of posts for the tree
A ring of posts for the tree
The junction of Charlton Lane and Highwall Lane is just to the south of Queen Charlton itself. Here a small patch of greenery is home to a magnificent tree and is now surrounded by posts to prevent the many cars parking on it. This was also the site of the village cross which is now in the heart of the village, some 400m away.
