Super moon over Swains Valley
Super moon over Swains Valley
The "Super Moon" of April 2020 was viewable before sunset. At first it was hidden behind thin cloud but it cleared briefly and I managed to get this view from Swains Valley SJ9594 : Super moon viewed from Swains Valley through a gap in the trees.

The moon has an elliptical orbit around the Earth and when at its nearest, or perigee, the moon appears larger and brighter, hence it being called a "super moon".
