Statue of Sister Dora
Statue of Dorothy Pattison (18321878) better known as 'Sister Dora'. She was an Anglican nun and a nurse. As a nurse she dedicated herself to the people of Walsall. She died from breast cancer aged 46. In October 1886, this statue by Francis John Williamson was unveiled by a Mr. B Beebee.

The statue is believed to be the first public statue in Britain of a woman who is not of royal blood.
