The Maze, St Agnes
The Maze, St Agnes
The Troy Town maze is said to have been made by a lighthouse keeper at the end of the 18th century, although excavations suggest there may have been one here before that.
I took this photo a long time ago and having seen other pictures of a rather worn out and trampled looking maze at this location, I'm wondering if this is a copy somewhere nearby. I really can't remember. It looks very neat and tidy by comparison and doesn't seem to be like this in any other pictures.
Maybe it gets restored from time to time and this is shortly after one such tidy up.
