Rose Castle Tarn
Looking at this tarn on an Ordnance Survey map, at first glance, it might appear to be part of Tarn Hows, a much larger body of water which it is very close to, but it is in fact several feet higher and separate from it. The tarn has two tiny islands and is surrounded by a wildlife conservation area.
