taken 6 years ago, near to Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England

Pedestrian subway, Adelaide Bridge, Leamington
Pedestrian subway, Adelaide Bridge, Leamington
The subway was formed by the Borough Engineer Mr de Normanville in 1893 or soon after. It enabled users of the newly laid-out York Promenade, foreground, to continue on the New River Walk in Victoria Park without having to cross Adelaide Road. SP3165 : York Promenade from Adelaide Bridge is the view back from the bridge.
