Jarrow Hall
Jarrow Hall
Jarrow Hall was built in 1785 as a private residence by a local businessman. After various changes of use and a major restoration project it became the Bede Monastery Museum in 1974. By the time of this photograph it had become a part of Bede's World, a museum complex devoted to the life and times of the Venerable Bede; this has since been renamed 'Jarrow Hall – Anglo-Saxon Farm, Village and Bede Museum'.
