Public Footpath and Bank of Bluebells, Holywell Dene
Public Footpath and Bank of Bluebells, Holywell Dene
This path, which follows the Seaton Burn, climbs towards the route of the old Avenue Branch of the Blyth & Tyne Railway, now designated as a 'traffic-free cycle route'. The bankside was covered with Common Bluebells, a sure sign that spring was in full swing. For a selection of detailed free to download walking routes in the area visit LinkExternal link
