Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve: hilltop
This is the highest point in the reserve, the top of an artificial mound of old landfill. Off camera there were people sunbathing (not shown for modesty, and because it wasn't allowed in the current Covid-19 crisis).
Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve

A ten hectare reserve formed in the 1990s on reclaimed industrial land between the Leeds-Skipton railway line and the river Aire. The reserve, with its mixture of planted and naturally seeded trees, ponds and wildflower meadows, is managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and open to the public on a permissive basis.
