Field Three Rise locks, Leeds and Liverpool Canal
The Leeds and Liverpool Canal is well known for its staircase locks, of which the famous Bingley Five Rise are outstanding, but there are a number of three- and two-rise staircases as well. Here st Field Three Rise, (Nos 18 to 20), the crew of a BWB maintenance boat are making sure they are warm enough on a chilly November morning.
