Geograph - photograph every grid square

I apologise for the reflections, but this is a moment in time, and that moment has been characterised by the glorious sunny weather. I could do nowt about the reflections. This is the shop seen in happier times in TF0920 : The Ironmonger.

We are here during the Covid-19 shutdown, and the two phases of the onset of the epidmeic are preserved in the door. First of all there is a notice reflecting the panic buying phase, stating that they had none of the items people sought so urgently to protect themselves. Then came the shutdown, and shops were required to close.

Now there is an oddity here. Large national chains like B&Q were allowed to stay open so people could do 'essential' maintenance, but poor old Harrison and Dunn, who have struggled long with the unfair competition from near-monopoly suppliers could not provide the same service.
