taken 28 days ago, near to Carthorpe, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

The old Black Bull Inn
The old Black Bull Inn
One of four public houses in the village in the 1850s, now only the Fox and Hounds on the main street remains. William Anderson was the inn keeper here in the 1840 census.
There is a benchmark on the west face of the building next to the road sign.
