Bridleway near Frizer Hill
Bridleway near Frizer Hill
The path leads past some poorly drained ground ahead and alongside a number of large stones at the side of the track. Some are sharp edged, like the one nearest the camera, but most are rounded, and while most are sandstone there are one or two which appear to be limestone. It seems likely that at least some are glacial erratics as this shallow valley is on the course of an old meltwater channel.
