Avro Anson Mk 1, LT184 of the 7 Air Observer School RAF Ringawaddy [Bishop's Court] Co Down J5743 : View SE towards the former RAF Ringawaddy crashed into Mynydd Perfedd at night on the 5 Oct 1943 with the loss of all 4 of its crew. Nine months later Avro Anson Mk1 LT116 of 9 (Observer) Advanced Flying Unit RAF Llandwrog crashed, again at night, a few yards away
and again with the loss of all the crew.
