Avro Anson LT116 of 9 (Observer) Advanced Flying Unit, RAF Llandwrog, (now Caernarfon Airport), SH4358 : The Control Tower, Caernarfon Airport, was on night exercises on 4th/5th June 1944 when it ploughed into Mynydd Perfedd killing all four members of the crew. The site is yards from that of the October 1943 crash which cost the lives of the crew of Avro Anson Mk1, LT148.
