Early in the Covid-19 lockdown children's play areas were ordered to be closed. Here, some items have been disabled; others wrapped in red and white tape, most of which has been ripped off by visitors. It looks as though efforts to deny access to these toddler swings have been redoubled.
In the background the western end of the park has a fine collection of ornamental and exotic trees.
