NY7345 : Ruined wall on grassy moorland

taken 4 years ago, near to Alston, Cumbria, England

Ruined wall on grassy moorland
Ruined wall on grassy moorland
A curious ruined wall; it's the uniformity of the stone loss that's unusual (but not unique). As the amount of stone remaining isn't sufficient for a structure of any normal height perhaps the stone has been removed for use elsewhere.
