Portpatrick Harbour
Portpatrick Harbour
The first attempt to build breakwaters to enclose a harbour at Portpatrick came in 1770 but it was not until the 1860s that the modern inner harbour was constructed. In this view a number of different types of vessels are taking advantage of the facility including the Portpatrick lifeboat.
