A train waits at the terminus station before returning to Cleethorpes. When this photograph was taken, some eight years before the opening of the Humber Bridge, the train would have had to reverse at New Holland where connections could be made with the Hull ferry. The buildings seen here were demolished later in the year and the station, although still operational, looks completely different now: TA0222 : Barton-on-Humber station
