Geograph - photograph every grid square

Whilst some areas of the Tyne south bank remain abandoned and derelict, the former Hebburn Colliery site now hosts a variety of industrial buildings and businesses (and there's clearly plenty of work going on on the north bank, too). Much of this is hidden from land-based photographers but easily seen by those on the water. An ebb tide-assisted paddle from Derwenthaugh to South Shields took us past a lot of scenery very different from our usual remote Scottish coastline, but interesting from a variety of perspectives.
