SE2747 : Train crossing the railway bridge by Weeton station

taken 4 years ago, near to Huby, North Yorkshire, England

Train crossing the railway bridge by Weeton station
Train crossing the railway bridge by Weeton station
Although the station is named Weeton (after a village a mile away) it's actually in the village of Huby. The bridge presumably dates from the opening of the line in 1848. The train is a Turbostar diesel on the 10.11 York to Leeds via Harrogate. See SE2747 : Railway bridge by Weeton station, from the east for a view from the other side.
