The Oxeye Daisy is a familiar and attractive grassland perennial and our largest native member of the daisy family. It is also known as the Dog Daisy. This field lies adjacent to the route of the old Avenue Branch of the Blyth & Tyne Railway which is now a designated traffic-free cycle route.
