'Marshlander' at Hythe
'Marshlander' at Hythe
'Marshlander' was a special train which ran from Southampton to Folkestone with bus transfers to Hythe for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, The BR train was nothing grand - just an ordinary 4-CEP EMU as I recall. The RH&DR laid on their own special which was very long and double-headed. See also TR0816 : Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway at Dungeness.
