Electronic cycle counter with Covid-19 notice, Exton
Electronic cycle counter with Covid-19 notice, Exton
The cycle path runs between the Commando Training Centre and railway (behind the fence) between Exton and Lympstone. This is one of several electronic counters by the path, each triggered by cables buried in the surface. This notice was put in place during the Covid-19 lockdown. It explains that training is continuing, and the staff and trainees follow distancing guidelines, "except in a very few instances where a number of essential training tasks do not make this possible. In such cases, we have taken precautions to reduce the risk to trainees and staff, including training as cohorts, additional hygiene and cleaning."
