Looking across fields from the north end of the bridge on the track leading to Barbon Manor. Neither Ash trees nor hawthorns lining the banks of Barbon Beck have yet leafed out in this March view, though the last of the snow accumulated behind walls on the fells is fast disappearing and there's definitely a feeling of spring in the air, even higher up.
