One way in Norwich Cathedral
One way in Norwich Cathedral
Norwich Cathedral reopened again on 15 June, for individual prayer only, after the lockdown which had been imposed on 23 March was relaxed. A series of measures to help keep people as safe as possible had been put in place, including the limiting of the number of people allowed in the historic building at any one time, a special one-way system throughout the Cathedral, hand-cleaning facilities available throughout the route, and signage encouraging people to maintain social distance. Visitors were welcome to walk around the nave and light a candle on the Peace Globe, but the cathedralís chapels, choir stalls and presbytery remained cordoned off.
