Croft Gardens: green tiles gone
Croft Gardens: green tiles gone
Croft Gardens, designed by the Art Deco architect D C Wadhwa and built in the 1930s, consisted of three green-roofed blocks of flats round a garden court. King’s College intends to replace these buildings with larger, more densely-populated blocks. Hugh Venables took TL4457 : Croft Gardens, Barton Road in August 2016 and my TL4457 : Croft Gardens: exclusion zone was taken in March 2020.
