Harlton church on a midsummer morning
Harlton church on a midsummer morning
It's hard to come to Harlton and not take a picture of the impressive 14th-century parish church of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. After being locked during the coronavirus pandemic shut-down it was due to re-open for private prayer the day after this photograph was taken.

The interior is handsome, and has a fine 17th-century monument - see, among others, TL3852 : Harlton church: nave and chancel and TL3852 : Harlton: Fryer Monument - Mary Fryer.
