On the River Dart footbridge
On the River Dart footbridge
In its early years, the South Devon heritage railway was isolated from Totnes by the River Dart. It did have running rights into Totnes station for a while, but they were relinquished on cost grounds. This bridge, providing a pedestrian link between the line and Totnes, was opened in 1993.
