Coupling-up on the Gwili Railway
Coupling-up on the Gwili Railway
Saddle tank locomotive 'Welsh Guardsman' being attached to a train in Bronwydd Arms station. The Welsh Government has come out strongly in favour of re-instating the line from Aberystwyth to Carmarthen which was closed to passengers in 1965. The heritage Gwili Railway runs over part of the old route so it begs the question, what would happen to the Gwili if the line were to be reopened?
