Seaton Tram Station
Seaton Tram Station
The Seaton Tramway runs between Seaton and Colyton mostly along part of the Seaton branch railway which closed in 1966, although the terminus seen here is not actually on the old railway alignment. The trams are narrow gauge (2ft 9in) and the original equipment was brought from a similar operation that closed in Eastbourne, including car 6 which is loading for Colyton in this 1999 view. The tramway first opened in 1970 although this terminus was not opened until 1975 (and was completely rebuilt in 2018).
