The A703

The A703 runs for around 18 miles between the A72 at Peebles and Hillend, about ½ mile south of the Edinburgh City Bypass and the city boundary. The section between Pebbles and Leadburn is particularly scenic, with many fine views. North of Leadburn, The A703 multiplexes with the A701 for 6 miles to a roundabout at Bilston where the two roads split. The northern section of the A703 provides a link between the A701 and A702 coming respectively from the west and east of Edinburgh city centre.
