Abberley Clock Tower
Abberley Clock Tower
This exhilarating Victorian masterpiece was built from 1883-84 by J. P. St Aubyn for John Joseph Jones of Abberley Hall. The clock tower is based of 13th-14th century architecture, and stands alone on a hill that can be seen from six counties! The clock tower is now part of Abberley Hall School, although visitors are allowed to look around the clock tower and rest on the hill (I had my lunch on a bench in front of the clock tower).
