Common Spotted Orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii)
Common Spotted Orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii)
This orchid is widespread and locally abundant throughout the British Isles and the most frequently found orchid in Norfolk, where it can be found in woodland rides and damp grassland. It is however absent from the Fens and the intensive arable countryside in the north-west of the county. Common spotted orchids flower during June and their leaves are heavily spotted.
